The event will highlight the importance of open source and the implications for the UG. We want to bring people within the UG together to discuss the important issues about open source.
This event starts with a plenary session with general information about open source. Various speakers talk about their experience of open source. The Meetup will be followed by discussion sessions in which you can further discuss your opinion, knowledge and experience of open source.

After the break, the audience splits into two groups: one group can follow the discussion sessions about the use of open source (in room 5419-0105) and the other one about the development of open source (in room 5419-0103).
